I ask the question as it appears in recent days the transfer of Deco and Carvalho to Inter Milan may be in danger because both clubs have very different valuations of the two players. Its been reported that Chelsea are looking for a combined fee of £12m and Inter are only prepared to pay £6m.
For £6m you can have Deco on his own thank you!. Surely if there is one person who knows the value of a fully fit and playing Carvalho its Jose. But to offer £6m for BOTH of them is ridiculous. In a time where it seems money seems to be no object for certain clubs and players its an insult to Chelsea and to the players themselves.
For me Inter need to do some thinking, we are prepared to let them go, they both want to go but your gonna have to pay the money!.
