Carvalho on his way?

A report has broken in the media today that Ricardo Carvalho is open to the idea of leaving Chelsea this summer and a number of clubs have already made enquiries about him. After a frustrating season for Riccy with injuries in that he only made 12 appearances for the Blues this season, i can see how this story has broken.

If you were to of said the same thing last summer we would of bitten your hand off to keep him but i get the impression that things have changed for Carvalho and for Chelsea. Alex has had an amazing season next to JT and has set his stall out to make the position his for good. Ivanovic came in at times and was outstanding too albeit at right back a few times but has shown that he is another great asset we have at the club and its obvious to me that Mancienne is becoming more and more frustrated at Chelsea with not getting his chance.

So i can see Riccy going this summer along with Deco and I won't be surprised if its to Inter. He has been an amazing servant to Chelsea in the past four seasons and will always be remembered as being part of the squad that brought us the Premier League two season's running. But I think along with Robben and Duff from that era he has become too injury prone (sorry to say) and i think his time has come to leave.
