Reported on the net this morning Owner Roman Abramovich is planning a double swoop at AC Milan in the summer. Leading Italian Newspaper Gazetto dello Sport says that an offer is on the table for Carlo Ancelotti yesterday and he has discussed it with vice-president Galliani yesterday and if he leaves Milan to come to Chelsea then KAKA will follow him. It has also been reported that Man City and Real Madrid are also interested in Kaka.
This is an amazing story if its true. Ancelotti has a proven pedigree and is a proven manager. Whether or not he can step up to the plate in England is another thing, but if he does come then it surely puts Chelsea in pole position to sign Kaka. Let's hope there is substance to this one ! What do you all think?
More rumours have appeared in the British Press this morning. Again David Trezuguet is being linked strongly with Chelsea as reported in an earlier rumours post. His agent has been quoted as saying Chelsea are among three Premier League clubs who are "Interested" in him. So let's see what happens with that one.
Also it has also appeared in one of the papers that Chelsea have decided to look at and go for English talent to bring into Stamford Bridge.
There are rumours that we are looking at Ashley Young of Aston Villa. I for one would be happy with that as he would provide us with some natural balance on the left. With Joe Cole on the right we would look good. What do you think?
Another player linked to Chelsea is Yuri Zhirkov who i think you will all agree impressed everyone with his performances for Russia. It appears he is tempted by a move to Chelsea but no formal approach has been made. I think he would be a good addition to the side. We need to get rid of the dead wood around Stamford Bridge and freshen the side up and he would be an excellent choice. What do you guys think?
Finally, Jose Mourinho was asked by the Italian press about his plans for the summer and has refused to rule out his interest in bringing Didier to the San Siro. I hope he stays now. I think once the dead wood is out the door in the summer and we bring in some quality Didier will stay at the bridge.
