Roman ready to splash out on Villa?

Also reported this morning in almost every single British Newspaper is the story that Roman Abramovich is reportedly ready to splash the cash on David Villa from Valencia. Its well documented that Valencia are debt-ridden at the moment and are looking for somewhere in the region of 40-45 million pounds for him. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested but will be put off by the price and know that they are unable to compete with Chelsea's renewed financial clout that Roman has at his disposal.

I personally would love to see Villa at Chelsea as a foil for Drogba / Anelka. He is a out and out finisher and would form a deadly partnetship with Didier that would terrorise the hell out of defenders in the Premier League and across Europe. Let's hope as time goes on towards the end of the season that the "rumours" are true and we get him in the summer.


Chelsea are also reportedly looking at PSG's midfielder Stephane Sessegnon. The Benin star has been recommended to Chelsea by Chelsea Legend Claude Makelele. Its been reported that Arsenal wanted him to replace Flammini last summer and Newcastle are also watching the situation. To be honest i do not know alot about him. But look at this short video below and i think its safe to say he has something about him!

Finally its also reported in the last day or so that Guus Hiddink has criticised Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp for the way he has handled Roman Pavlyuchenko. He has stated that he is wasted in the reserves and would be better off at Chelsea.
