Welcome to my Vlog today focusing on the victory over PAOK last night in the Europa League to take three all important points on opening night.
Let's face it, if we were offered the win before the game we would have taken it. That said, we should be walking this group and battering each of the opposition twice on paper but it never happened!
Check out the my Vlog below featuring the players that caught my eye last night for different reasons:
Toni Rudiger - Outstanding, becoming the mainstay of our back four and it's now a fight between three players to play alongside him.
Jorginho - Sensational with the ball, work-rate to make himself available is different class and the fact that he has become the conductor is excellent - also will give people a bollocking if they ignore his instructions. HOWEVER, we have seen last night on a few occasions that defensively he is powder-puff in the challenge and can't tackle. This is not Serie A, this is the Premier League!
N'Golo Kante - Still nowhere near as effective from the box-to-box midfield position as demonstrated last night and in my view, a complete waste of his natural talent.
Ross Barkley - Best game for Chelsea in my opinion and was outstanding. He gave a MOTM performance with his runs off the ball, his assist to Willian, always making himself available to receive the ball and his general use of the ball all night.
Alvaro Morata - Frustrating night and pissed off when subbed off. However, he is making the right moves and getting into good positions. The goals will eventually come. Giroud will start against West Ham.
So there you go, that's today's Vlog - What do you think about my point of view on the players featured and especially Jorginho? Post your comments below!
