Antonio Conte will field his strongest eleven against Arsenal in the FA Cup Final at Wembley tomorrow as he looks to win the double in his first season.
It's my intention to not focus on anything to do with Arsenal in the build up to the game but to focus on Chelsea as Antonio Conte prepares the players for the FA Cup Final showcase that it's beamed around the world.
With a fully fit squad to choose from, with players like Michy Batshuayi making a real impression of late and possibly John Terry's final appearance in a Chelsea shirt, it would be easy for Antonio Conte to make plenty of changes to his team ahead of kick-off at 17:30 tomorrow. I personally believe that he will resist any thoughts like that and will look to go as strong as possible with his team selection.
Our back three in front of Thibaut Courtois have been outstanding and there will be no chances there. Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill will all start. So to will Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses who have both impressed in their debut seasons at wing-back.
Based on the attacking threat we are up against I see Nemanja Matic coming into the side to partner N'Golo Kante in the heart of our midfield to provide plenty of protection to our defence. Both will work hard in that area to close the ball down, win it back and give it early to our attacking players.
This will be tough on him but I believe Willian will have to settle for a place on the bench as Conte will stick with Eden Hazard and Pedro supporting Diego Costa up front as they appear to be his first choice at the moment.
This, like any other game under Conte, is of massive importance and the team will be prepared as much as they could be to go out there tomorrow and deliver a result and a double. In my view, it's the best eleven possible with Willian and Cesc Fabregas as possible replacements late on with a final swansong for John Terry thrown in.
Come on Chelsea!
