Chelsea midfielder to be given Champions League football with a move to Juventus on loan?
Having stated that the only reason he would leave Chelsea would be for a top European club, Cesc Fabregas could be set to sign on loan ...

There has been plenty said on this site about the situation he finds himself in at Chelsea and it must be re-iterated that the player has openly stated that he wants to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place back into the team. However, it's looking more and more difficult as each game passes as the team are playing fantastically well having found what seems to be the perfect balance.
Again, as with many other reports that appear in the press at this time of year, and talk of a possible move is pure speculation and could be complete fabrication. Yes we have read reports that he wants to stay, we have read reports that he has been told that there is no place for him in Antonio Conte's plans and reports that if he has to leave to find first team football, he only wants to move to a top European side. It will be more than interesting to see what happens in the transfer window if he was made available.
One of those moves would be to Juventus on loan with a view to a permanent deal and you would have to believe that this would appeal to Fabregas. Juventus are a top, top side and have spent their Pogba money wisely. Their squad is strong and offer Champions League Football into the second stages of the competition. You would also have to look at the obvious connection between the club and Conte with a direct line of communication. If Conte doesn't have Fabregas in his plans, you would have to assume that he would try and work some sort of agreement with his former employers.
The whole Fabregas story will run for weeks until the January transfer window and be prepared to hear of other top clubs in Europe being interested in a loan arrangement (Sevilla have been linked this morning but have played down the reports).
A part of me hopes that somehow, Fabregas can force his way back into Conte's plans but I just do not see it happening any time soon.
