Patrick Bamford is a target for Norwich City in this transfer window as a permanent signing. Reports indicate that Chelsea could be open to the move by inserting a buy-back clause as part of the deal but should we be selling him in the first place?
I have commented on Bamford here a number of times and still believe 100% that he should be given a chance in our first team. He has proven himself at every level apart from the Premier League but with someone who has natural ability and instinct in front of goal, why not give him the chance he craves at Chelsea?
Guus Hiddink has spoken of Bamford in recent weeks stating that he needs to prove himself again in he Under 21's to see where we go from there. Bamford played and scored twice against QPR in his first appearance this season!

His ability is scary, it really is. Up to Guus Hiddink's return, Chelsea have really struggled for goals this season and honestly, we have the answer in our Academy - Patrick Bamford.
The only reason Chelsea should contemplate selling the striker is if he has asked for a move because it has been made clear that he will not get a chance at the club. If he hasn't asked for a move, is prepared to get his head down and work hard for a chance then we should knock back any offers for him and keep him.
Am I being stupid here or something? Doesn't anyone at the club see the ability this guy clearly has already (Named the Championship Player of the Year last term) and just how good he could move on to become?
Play him at Chelsea - Don't sell him!
