Can we please forget all talk of Chelsea being the next "Invincible" team!

If there is one common theme of the past few days regarding Chelsea it's all this talk of us being the next "invincible" side after Arsenal in the Premier League. Forget it as it's not going to happen!

Jose Mourinho was right when asked about the possibility ahead of our last Premier League game when he said:

"It's something that happened once in a lifetime. I don't see, in modern football with the competitiveness of this Premier League, one team being champion without a defeat."

It's true, I honestly believe that what Arsenal achieved was something extraordinary at the time and something like that happens just once in our lifetime.

Don't get me wrong, Chelsea have the potential to go unbeaten all season long and have the Manager and the squad more than capable, but the demands of the game are very different compared to when Arsenal achieved what they did.

You only have to look at this summers transfer window to see how much money each club had spent (or had done in the previous window) to realise that the teams now are more competitive.

As we have seen, on any given day in the Premier League, any team has the ability to go out on that pitch and beat the team they face no matter how big in stature the opposition is. That's the beauty of our League and why the world watches it.

It's a long hard season and to even talk about it at this early stage is ridiculous.
