COSTA: My opinion has changed after an impressive pre season!

I have expressed concerns over the temperament of Diego Costa but if he carries on performing like has has in pre season, I literally don't care what his temperament is like because he scored a brilliant goal last night.

Costa has really, really impressed me in pre season with his work rate, his team play, movement of the ball and his finishing and he has won me over 100%. If we can keep him firing and always look for the runs he makes, this Premier League title is ours!

I know we lost the second game to Besiktas but that doesn't concern me. What I want to focus on is two incidents involving Costa in the first game - our 2-0 victory over Fenerbache.

With the game being played at a good tempo and both sides looking to cancel each other out, Costa picks up the ball with his back to goal and does this!

What an amazing goal from Costa, demonstrating that not only is he quick, not only is he strong but he has skill and technique in abundance. The more I see of Costa, the more I love him!

Now to the second incident I want to show you. As I said a while ago I express concerns over his temper but I am beginning to like that from the big man. He is prepared to stand up and be strong against his defender and also take a few hits from them. However, when they over step the mark (just like in the clip below in a truly disgraceful tackle) he is only to willing to let them know about it!

Diego Costa has won me over 100% this pre season and I cannot wait to see him take on Burnley next Monday night. If he carries on like he is, Costa can fire us to silverware once again this season!
