FALCAO: Just how seriously are you taking the rumours?

As we have all seen over the past few days, Chelsea have once again been linked with a move for Radamel Falcao and I just wanted to know how seriously you believe these rumours?

First and foremost, Falcao has only just signed for Monaco in a massive £52m move last summer. Secondly, you have to imagine he is on massive wages so if he was to entertain the idea of moving to West London he would need to take a considerable hit and pay cut!

Thirdly, he would have had the choice to come here back in the summer and rejected the chance for one reason or another. Of course straight away you would think it's because of the money and who would blame him being offered a reported £400,000 a week!!

Finally, I see reports of Fernando Torres being offered to Monaco as part of any deal for Falcao and I have to question as to why we would do that? Demba Ba is off in January so why leave ourselves short?

I have to admit that you look at our team and the way we play and you have to think to yourselves that if only we had someone who was an old school predator, a fox in the box who could get on the end of all our attacking moves, we would then be laughing.

Torres is getting there to a point and Samuel Eto'o is beginning to find his feet but Falcao would be a revelation and of that there is little doubt.

Everyone has written there views and opinions on the player and what he would bring to Chelsea. I could go into detail doing the same but at the moment I simply cannot see Falcao coming here in January.

The player himself has praised the Premier League in England but at the same time has explained that he is enjoying his football in France and is happy at Monaco.

Being honest, it's going to take a huge amount of money to bring him here and extortionate wages.

So come on Chelsea fans, tell me just how seriously do you take these rumours?
