Kevin De Bruyne has been the subject of intense press speculation recently and ever since Jose Mourinho publicly stated that he was "bad" against Swindon in the League Cup game the other week.
From being linked with a move away from the club on loan to a permanent move, the player himself has been quick to play down these reports and admit that although the signing of Willian was difficult, he continues to train and work hard.
He said:
Mourinho is the boss, he chooses who plays. We do not talk about it really, no.
He tells me when I do something bad, but frankly I haven't heard such negative comments.
I talk to him about my situation. He tells me when I do something bad but frankly I have not heard many negative comments.
I chose to stay and I have no regrets. Still, Willian then came in at the last minute, which was a bit difficult, but I continue to fight hard.
My chance will come. I'm really not concerned about finding a solution in January. That we will have to see."(Source)
I am glad that he has come out and spoken about his current situation at Chelsea because it puts to bed all the rumours going around at the moment about his future.
It's also good to hear that he continues to train hard, work hard and wants to fight hard to get a chance and in doing so, he would be given that chance.
De Bruyne is a fantastic talent and I am certain he will get a chance soon enough!
