Feelings to one side. Could Rafa ever win us over?

In the wake of the hostile reception he received from Chelsea fans on Sunday, from my post here asking how the team moves forward from here, I just wanted to know if you personally feel that Rafa Benitez could ever win you over?

Let's face it and it's something we have to accept whether we like it or not, what Roman does is final and there is nothing more we can do about it.

Apart from his latest decision, Roman hasn't let us down before and every single one of his decisions (including Scolari) has been for the good of the team. His record and trophy cabinet speaks for itself.

It's important to remember that one thing remains constant and that's the Football Club. No matter what, we support Chelsea FC and that is all that matters but for the time being, I just want to ask YOU the Chelsea fan reading this if Rafa Benitez could ever win us over?

Petr Cech has been vocal in the fact that the players need to get on with things, to be professional and do their best to earn their places in the team. If anything, should the supporters do the same?

I do not and will not condone the supporters for venting their frustrations at Roman, the board and Rafa Benitez as it was important that they all got the message and even though it means little, I think they did.

We have to think of the football team and our players now and concentrate on supporting them through the next few months. It can't have been easy on Sunday but they managed to get through it and will continue to work hard to turn things around.

The question is, if we do managed to pick up our form between now and the end of the season and collect a trophy or two, would that change your opinion on Rafa at all and win YOU over even if he does what the Supporters have asked for and gives us an apology for the past?

Are we that stubborn to hold a grudge even if he brings home silverware?
