Chelsea travel to Loftus Road this afternoon looking to continue our good start to the season and to put right the wrongs of Monaco two weeks ago. However, once again the build up the to game has focused on a pointless handshake and not the potential of both sides in the game and that's a shame really.
Getting back to the game, it's no given for Chelsea today as QPR will be looking to get their start to the season back on track after a disappointing start with a single point from three games.
I have had a look at QPR this week and have pointed out some reasons for their defensive problems so take a look here, hopefully Chelsea will need to capitalise this afternoon.
What about going forward? QPR have some tried and trusted Premier League campaigners in Andy Johnson, Bobby Zamora and Cisse and Chelsea need to remain solid at the back.
You have to remember that on days like today form goes out of the window and it's about how both sides perform on the day. Chelsea had an appaling record in London derbies last season and need to make a drastic improvement if we are to become genuine title challengers starting today.
The biggest question for me about this afternoon is RDM's team selection with Juventus in mind next week. I can really see a fair few changes to the starting eleven today with some players being "rested" and the likes of Victor Moses and Cesar Azpilicueta being handed their full debuts.
It's important that Chelsea get an early foothold in the game and dominate possession. QPR will look to remain tight at the back and to deny Chelsea any space so Chelsea need to move the ball forward quickly and utilise the runs from Fernando Torres all afternoon.
Of course being a Chelsea fan I expect us to win this one but like I said it's no given, Chelsea have to earn the win.
Eden Hazard could once again be the deciding factor and let's be honest here, all of us would take any kind of win today to keep our run going.
So come on Chelsea, get out there, up and at it from the kickoff and let's bring home three points!
Predicted starting eleven:
Cech, Azpiliceuta, Cahill, Terry (c), Cole, Mikel, Ramires, Moses, Hazard, Bertrand, Torres.
Come on Chelsea!
