VIDEOS: Torres and Mata's impact against Italy!.

Last night Spain won Euro 2012 with a stunning display of football against Italy eventually winning 4-0.

Now as a Chelsea fan, I was itching for Fernando Torres and Juan Mata especially, to get on and have some involvement in the game.

Torres came on for the final 15 minutes or so, with Italy down to ten men after making all their substitutions and losing one of them, Tiago Motta to injury.

You just had a feeling that given the right service, Torres would get at least one chance - he did and he took it well!.



As for Juan Mata, he hadn't even kicked a ball in the tournament so far which I could never understand. With Spain 3-0 up and cruising to the title, Del Bosque brought him on in place of the amazing Iniesta and within a couple of touches, Mata scored the fourth and final goal after an unselfish assist from his Chelsea mate Torres!



What a season for the pair of them!. They have won, the Champions League, The FA Cup and now the European Championships and for Torres, his second Euros. He also becomes the first player to score in two European finals.

Let's hope they can kick on with the blues. I have a funny feeling that Torres, now being told his IS our number one, will fly and with the right service, will score 30+ goals next season!
