As we all know, Chelsea have to register 25 players and no more ahead of the new season for the Premier League and Champions League competitions but we have a problem. At the moment with our new signings, promotions and returning loan players, we have 31 players in our first team squad.
Remembering that although he is listed as part of our squad, Patrick Van Aanholt has already been loaned out this season with Vitesse again.
So RDM needs to make a decision about certain players and so I have decided to open debate on the five players I believe are the ones in danger of being cut from the squad, sold or loaned out.
Next up is Florent Malouda.
I have had my say on Florent Malouda numerous times on here but my feelings haven't changed at all.
Florent Malouda in our double winning season under Carlo Ancelotti was outstanding, fantastic even!. The problem is, apart from that season, we have only ever seen glimpses beforehand and ever since!.
If anything, the new signings we have made are an indication that Chelsea are looking to attack teams with pace and flair and I am sorry but this is something that Malouda is now lacking.
He's too slow in possession of the ball, doesn't look to beat a man now and would rather pass the ball backwards or sideways.
OK, he still pops up with the odd goal here and there, but I am sorry we now have better options at the club. I posted earlier that I believe we should keep hold of Kevin de Bruyne rather than Malouda as we need to take the team forward now.
Sorry people, it's nothing personal about Malouda and he will be remembered fondly as part of our double winning and Champions League winning squad but it's time to call it day for me!.
What do you people think? Am I wrong?
KTBFFH!
Pls u are 100% right...i am a sexy female fan of sexy chelsea club and i can analyse each player from top to bottom...malouda has lost form and skills in scoring attacking and with pace...of course he has contributed his great times and moment in chelsea and we would always remember him but now is the time he has to go...kiss with love Biemce Brume kiss
ReplyDeleteBin him he is the worst player i hav ever seen play for chelsea him and merelies
ReplyDeleteI think RDM is right F.M is now too slow he is no longer percinate about his position so its better for him to go not that we wont mis him wi wil and alwys wil so F.M go and rebuild your name again this time work hard wish the best of u in your futur
ReplyDeletei've never loved SloMo for once even when he did played well in our double winning season.if KDB is going on loan, then Kakuta must stay back and Piazon too must be given game time because Malouda is surely leaving.I'll be very sad to see Malouda in the squad this new season.
ReplyDeleteIn my own opinion, Malouda is too slow to perform with the present crops of young players in Chelsea right now. A player that cannot dribble an opponent successfully! He should be told to look for another club.
