If you are a regular visitor of my blog, you would have known I posted THIS before the season started and wrote about how the season would be "A big big season for the old guard". The first paragraph I wrote has come true!. I said:

Everyone has written Chelsea off this season haven't they and doesn't it really frustrate and wind you up? It does me, but in a way I prefer that because I have a feeling that come May next year, there will be alot of these "pundits" that will have egg on their faces.

We had been written off, even back in February after the Napoli away game and let's be honest most of us probably thought the same looking at AVB walk off that pitch.

To their credit, JT, Petr Cech, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba who have been a part of this main core of players have all played THEIR OWN part in our successes this season and I am so proud of every single one of them.

There is no doubt about the spirit of this group of players, no question they are together and every other member of our squad understands just what it means to play for Chelsea and to never give up!.

So to all the pundits and members of the press who wrote Chelsea off before the start of the season I would like to show you something!
