Robbie Di Matteo has spoken to the media ahead of tonight's FA CUP semi final against Spurs and has been keen to reiterate the big game experience the Chelsea players have and the fact that they love playing at Wembley.
Chelsea have won five games out of five at Wembley in the FA CUP and will be looking to continue that record today. Questions will remain over who starts for Chelsea but RDM is quick to point out that he will pick a side to go out there and get the right result for the team, the supporters and the football club.
He said:
Experience is key in these big games and when you compare the two sides, Spurs have very little compared to Chelsea. A crowd of over 80,000 people at the Stadium, millions watching on TV around the world, it could be too much for some people and nerves get the better of them, mistakes creep in and some players fail to rise to the occasion.
Thankfully, Chelsea have been there and done it in recent times and I am talking about the majority of our players and squad as a whole.
You know, people have made alot about our older experienced players such as Cech, Terry, Cole, Lampard and Drogba this season but it's these guys that never give up and look to inspire the others around them to kick on.
Experience could be huge today as it's been close between both sides in the Premier League this season, but like I say, this is the FA CUP semi final at Wembley and is a very different situation.
Let's hope our experience counts tonight!

'You're judged by results and a good result on Sunday will be good for the players, the team and everyone involved, after that we take on the next challenge, but a positive result will be very good for us.(Source)
It's about this group of players, it's about Chelsea Football Club, and these boys have won the FA Cup themselves many times now, and they all like to play at Wembley. They've played there many times for the club and the national team. It's always a special occasion when you play at Wembley because it's a special game.
It's great we have experienced players who are used to big occasions. For them, it won't be a nervous game because they've been involved in so many semi-finals and finals, that part will help us.
We have a good history in this competition, it's a domestic trophy, a tradition-rich trophy, it's well known all over world and I think it's a prestige to be able to win it.'
