TORRES: Ignore this crap about him possibly leaving!.

I have to say that all this talk of Torres' agent talking up a move away from Chelsea is something that has been blown up from nothing. If you read the quote from his agent / management company, you will see that they are talking up the fact that he now feels like he is trusted by the manager and is getting back to where he used to be.

The comments about other clubs appear at the end of the interview and are something out of nothing as far as I am concerned. You have to remember, there appears to be a clear out coming this summer and all his representatives are saying, is that they will evaluate his situation in the coming months - meaning they want to see where Chelsea see Torres when the new players come in and just how highly he is regarded.

The quote from his management company is as follows:

“We’ll evaluate his future in the coming months, Fernando has another four years on his contract at Chelsea and the situation there has changed for him.

With Villas-Boas, he was not considered, but the arrival of Roberto Di Matteo on the bench has seen him return to have the trust that he deserves.

He played a great match in the Champions League in Lisbon, assisting the winning goal for Kalou.

We know the new American project at Roma and the philosophy of manager Luis Enrique, but if Roma want Fernando, they will have to talk with Chelsea.

The Italian championship is of a good standard, but there are currently no discussions with Roma or Juventus."

See what I mean?. Do you honestly think that Roman Abramovich will get rid of Torres? Of course not. It's my opinion that once Drogba goes, the focus will be on Torres, Sturridge and one other and Torres will be the main man here.

All the management company are doing, is making it clear that they will be having an eye on what is happening at the club when this clear out happens and to ensure their man is looked after.

So I suggest that you, the Chelsea fan reading this, ignores the bull that is being written about him leaving!
