Call for Di Matteo to be installed as permanent Manager!.

Now it's my personal opinion that people have under estimated the job that "Bobby Di Matteo" has done so far at Chelsea. Think about it for a second, in arguably (if you believe what the press are saying) the most ego filled dressing room in the Premier League, with masses of experience and big personalities that have reportedly seen off previous managers, he has gone in there done fantastic.

He has calmed down a situation that looked like spiralling out of control. He has brought the squad together and most importantly of all, got everyone together willing to fight for each other, for him and for the club once again. Make no mistake, its a massive achievement so far.

Marcel Desailly, who as we know on here always like to give his "opinions" on everything Chelsea from time to time and not always good, has given his opinion on Di Matteo and believes he should be given the chance on a permanent basis. He said:

"Mr Abramovich will do whatever he wants but I would really love to see Di Matteo keep the post. We are already hearing other coaches to come. Big names. Small names. Young. Old. But maybe the secret is to keep Di Matteo. Direct him on the mission and the vision the club have and see what is going to happen.

I really think that they should give him a chance and I hope he [Abramovich] will keep Di Matteo. As the manager, yes. You just have to cover yourself a bit in the future in case you want to get rid of him. You need to fit somebody else into the club on standby in case in a year or two years’ time you decide to sack Di Matteo."

What do you people think on Di Matteo? If anything, he has taken over at the worst possible moment and has come through it and turned things round. Surely the experience of that will give him the best experience and he would have learnt so much already. With talk of Gianfranco Zola being added to the coaching staff along with Eddie Newton, why not give him and the old boys a go?
