I shook my head in disbelief when I read an interview with Florent Malouda featured in The Telegraph. Malouda, who has struggled to reach anywhere his best form for two seasons now is quoted as saying:
"I'm not getting enough playing time, It's too limited for the ambitions I have. I can't be happy with that. If it is necessary, I will leave."(Source)
If you asked me to comment on him saying something like this then I would have said it simply isn't true as three seasons ago he was outstanding as we lifted the League and Cup double. Since then, he has been a shadow of his former self here and it's about time he had a look in the mirror!
Last season I said he was playing as if he had a chip on his shoulder and to sort it out and this season to me anyway, he has no grounds to moan about not being in the side because he simply hasn't been good enough compared to Juan Mata and is now too slow and laboured with the ball and is one of those players that slows our play down far too much.
Besides that, I think if you think about it, you can probably count on one hand the amount of time when he has played, that he has played in Fernando Torres on goal after Torres makes one of his runs.
So, I hope AVB has read this and tells him he can go. There are better replacements out there that can do a better job!

coz u a stupid u thnk firing experienced players wl yield results,am not happy with what avb is doing, infact he is the reason 4 this poor run,the wins we got hev nothing to do with avb, thats wat we call team spirit
ReplyDeleteMalouda has something left, but which top clubs would he start for? Man u, citeh, spurs? I think he rides the bench for all top clubs so he does for cfc too. If he's unhappy then he should go. Cfc need players who want to be part of a long term plan.
ReplyDeleteMalouda should go. AVB, as u first said that you will build chelsea for a long term, pls, focus on that cos our chances of winning the league this term is over but never fail to be on the top four for CL qualification. All am saying is that we need the likes of edinson cavani, higuin and modric although their chances of coming is small but kaka is also a good signing. Thanks for abt to secure the service of cahill. We still remain the pride of london.
