It's been confirmed that Nicolas Anelka has signed for Shanghei Shenhua on a reported £6m a year contract for two years. The club released an official statement on the Chelsea website here saying:
Chelsea Football Club and Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua have agreed terms for the permanent transfer of Nicolas Anelka in the January transfer window.
Since arriving from Bolton Wanderers in January 2008, the 32-year-old Frenchman has scored 59 goals in 184 games for Chelsea.

what's the transfer fee? I'll miss him, he's a fantastic servant to our club and did little sulking in my opinion. A class act thru & thru. But will Sal now be let go? A side point: have we found our front three or WHAT? Smashing performances from all three in every match they've featured in.
