MATA LOVES CHELSEA (VIDEO)

Juan Mata, away with Spain during the international break has taken time out to quickly speak of his move to Chelsea and England. When asked to give his opinion on his move he said:

"This summer I took a major step in my career by signing for Chelsea and the truth is that everything is going well. I feel comfortable playing for Chelsea."

I don't think any of us can argue that it wasn't a big step for Mata to make the move away from Spain to England and the Premier League.

That's the second time in his career he has made an important decision. Mata was at Real Madrid and made the important decision to move elsewhere to find his way in the game and became a star in his own right by making his name in Valencia.

When the time came back in the summer, he once again decided to take another big step in his career and he came here and has been brilliant for us.

He isn't the biggest, but its his skill and ability on the ball that has helped him settle here. Some people haven't made it or have struggled when they come to England, some overseas players make a real go of it and become an even bigger star.

If Mata can continue to settle down and build on his start for the season, I have no doubt he will become an even more influential player than David Silva at City.

It's an exciting time being a Chelsea fan right now and the fact that Juan Mata has come to these shores has made it even better.
