KALOU: I think he will leave us and it doesn't bother me.

I posted the other day about Salomon Kalou and the fact I was gob smacked that he had been offered a new deal at Chelsea and the fact that he was being linked with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal. Since then, Kalou again never featured against Everton and came on and scored against Genk the other night in the Champions League.
It was after his goal the other night, he spoke to the press about his lack of game time at Chelsea and expressed his frustrations. He said:
The problem is for me, and I have said it before, he talks about improving himself by playing regular football. He has been here five years and how many times has he been a first team regular? In order to get into the first team, you need to work hard in training and impress the manager and right now, there is no way in hell he would force Juan Mata or Daniel Sturridge out of the side!.
It's the same old, same old from Kalou and to be honest it all comes down to working hard. The problem is AVB spoke in response to his comments and didn't exactly provide Kalou with the answers he was looking for. He said:
Until Kalou can impress the manager, and when he is given a chance in the side perform to a level that is acceptable he will never be in the side stating on a regular basis.
Being honest, I would cash in on him in January, he has had his time!.

"That's what every player wants to have, game time, Because if you're not playing every weekend, how are you going to improve yourself? So it's very important to play to improve and to push yourself to the limit. That's what I'm looking for.(source)
We're still talking and hopefully the club is putting itself in a good position and me myself as well. I think we're going to agree on something good.
I want to stay, I want to be here. I like Chelsea. I've had a fantastic five seasons here and won some prizes. Chelsea are looking forward to the future and I'm still a young player and I think my future can be here."

"Everyone wants more playing time, even within what we're doing. Everyone thinks they fall short because we have 26 players and we can only pick 11. He's been training well and is competitive.(Source)
He can play a part for this team, as he did against Genk, and he just has to keep going and keep working."
