John Terry has spoken to Skysports News about the whole Modric situation and has revealed that this whole situation is somewhat disrespectful to Spurs. He is saying based on the players actions and not Chelsea's involvement. He said
"He's a world class player who is very difficult to play against, I know there are problems. It's probably a little bit disrespectful towards Spurs. He has his own problems at the moment. We've got a good squad of players. If he comes he could certainly add to that."(SOURCE)
Your thoughts but remember, this is football after all. Modric states he had an agreement with the club and that has been taken away..
Is it disrespectful these days for a player to speak out against his current club if this so-called agreement is in place and do you agree with JT?
I just hope this can all be sorted as soon as possible.

Looks far more likely to me that talking about an opposition player joining Chelsea was his idea of disrespectful, misquoted just a little bit
ReplyDeleteAgreed, in American football they would call it tampering and the team talking to another team's contracted player would be fined and or penalized. I see both sides of it and if modric leaves spurs it would be catastrophic for a team hoping to get back to champions league next year.
