JOHN TERRY'S HAPPY WITH ONE OF THE TWO.

John Terry is quoted today in The Telegraph speaking of speculation regarding our new manager. As you can imagine, he was asked on his opinions about all the names being linked with the club and in particular Guus Hiddink and Mark Hughes, especially as Hughes resigned from Fulham yesterday and is looking to manage a "bigger" club.

Terry said:

"There's a lot of speculation out there at the moment, I was very sad to see Carlo go, and as a group of players we will wait for the club to make a decision. There are a lot of managers being linked at the moment.

(Mark Hughes) He's someone that hopefully the club will be talking to. If it's him he will be welcomed by the players.

(Guus Hiddink) But we had a great time under Guus too, he would be welcomed back.
"Whether we are going to get someone who knows the club or someone different, that's out of the players hands"

It's funny isn't it how the speculation changes from one day to the next. Soon after Carlo was sacked we heard about Van Basten, Hiddink and Harry Redknapp. Then we had the nightmare that Avram was coming back, then it was Guardiola and Hiddink and now it remains Hiddink but with the addition to Hughes now.

(Let's not forget by the way, that Carlo promised to reveal all at the end of the season about the problems at Chelsea last season and we are still waiting to hear!)

I still feel as though it is going to be Hiddink and it's good to hear the players would welcome him back at the club.

Did you know he is the only manager that hasn't been sacked by Roman Abramovich. Let's hope if he does come to Chelsea, that fact will remain.
