HIDDINK: I WANT WILKINS BACK!

Well well well, if there is ever a stipulation to make a deal difficult for Chelsea and Roman Abramovich it's this one!. Apparently, according the Mirror, Guus Hiddink wants Ray Wilkins to become his assistant again like he was before, if he is to return to Chelsea. It was the Hiddink / Wilkins combination that led us to FA Cup glory a couple of season ago and it's believed that Hiddink feels as though these two can hit the ground running if they can start work together this pre season.

Now, we all know about Wilkins sacking and the fact that Wilkins only recently came out and said he would never come back to Chelsea again but to be asked by Hiddink could tempt Wilkins to think again.

Just imagine if this story was 100% true and Chelsea swallowed their pride and took Wilkins back? It would be make a huge statement to Guus Hiddink of the backing he would have from the Chelsea board and Roman Abramovich. As for Wilkins it would also be the same.

We do have to consider Wilkins in all this. Would he want to come back even if Guus asked? If it was you, would you go back?

It's obvious that Wilkins was loved and respected by the players and many people believed that although it wasn't only reason for our decline last season, it did play a major part.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this one?
