Do we have to wait till September for Hiddink and will we?

It appears that Guus Hiddink is now "on holiday" and according to his agent:

"I can say absolutely that he will still be in charge of Turkey in September for the next matches, against Kazakhstan and Austria. This is what we say, this is the position."

I have to say if that is the case then I cannot see Hiddink coming here as Manager. Based on comments from the man himself it almost seemed 100% certain that he was coming here which may still be the case, but if these comments are in fact true from his agent then it will cause a major problem at the club.

For me, we HAVE TO have a manager in place before pre season starts on 4th July. It is ridiculous to think of starting it without the main man there to organise everything, to plan everything and to make sure he gets the best out of the players and they reach the maximum levels of fitness. We need to take to our first league game next season better prepared than anyone and to hit the ground running otherwise we could fall behind all the other clubs looking to make a realistic challenge for the title at such an early stage!

Roman and his board have work to do. I posted a while back that we need to trust in Roman and that he will do what's right for Chelsea and we have to believe he will do the same again now. Could it even be a possibility that he comes in as Director of Football above someone else who could be appointed as first team coach?

OK, we have some time before pre season but like the rest of you I want everything sorted as soon as possible so the club, players and supporters alike know exactly where we stand ahead of the new season.

The question remains after all this, will Roman stick with Guus and try to tempt him away from his contract or will he be looking elsewhere?
