I think the question we are asking ourselves with the news today that it looks more or less certain that Andre Villas-Boas will be named the new Chelsea manager very soon is:
Can he handle the big ego's at Chelsea?
The general consensus of opinion outside of Stamford Bridge is that there are certain players who hold some clout within that dressing room and seeing someone come to "manage" them being the same age could cause problems.
I just wonder if he will decide to get rid of players of a "certain" age because of that reason and to build a team in his own shape because let's face it, the core of the side is still Jose Mourinho's team really isn't it!.
I really hope and am confident that there will be no problems. Chelsea are professional and realise that their performances in certain games cost Carlo Ancelotti his job and at the end of the day with Roman on the warpath, could cost them theirs.
It will be really interesting to see first of all what happens when he first meets the players and then during the weeks of pre-season to see just how much Chelsea and Roman Abramovich want to freshen things up.
