Well I have to say sitting watching the AVB press conference this morning, that I am well pleased with the fact that Roberto Di Matteo has come back to the club as AVB's Assistant First Team Coach.
Bobby is part and parcel of our history and after his career was cut short by that horrific injury he suffered, he made a real go of a his aim to become a successful manager.
With some success at MK Dons and at West Brom, we all know it was cut short in a surprising move when he was sacked shortly after being promoted back to the Premier League.
It was his vision of how the game is to be played and his experience in those couple of years that alerted AVB and in a similar move to Steve Clarke coming into Chelsea when Mourinho arrived, it is a perfect appointment for me.
AVB also confirmed Steve Holland makes the step up to the first team also as Assistant First Team Coach and AVB brings Jose Mario Rocha, a 48-year-old fitness expert, Daniel Sousa, who will become head opposition scout and Christophe Lollichon continues as goalkeeping coach.
Like I said in my view a great appointment for Chelsea. What do you people think?
