"We just have to play at our best with courage and personality"

Carlo Ancelotti followed Sir Alex Ferguson's Press Conference this afternoon and spoke of preparing for this game like a final and he believes that character and personality of the players will be more important on the day than the formation they are playing in. He said:

"Obviously it will be very important to choose the right players but it is not the team shape that can decide this game, It will be decided through the character of the players, and we don't have to be worried about this. We just have to play at our best with courage and personality. Whether the shape is 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 is not so important, and it is the same for Man United.

We have to prepare this game like a final and there is a lot of pressure but you have to have the skills to stay relaxed and maintain good control of your emotions. Don't be too worried or you will lose energy before the game.

There are no secrets between Chelsea and Manchester United, We know each other very well. I know that Rooney is the key player of Man United and also Ryan Giggs, as in the Champions League games they scored three goals against us from three of his passes.

Rooney is difficult to stop him because his position is not easy to control because he moves a lot and works for the team, but obviously we have to do something against him.

It is not easy to choose the right players because a lot of players deserve to play. I will check their condition in the last training session but the good thing is that usually I change the strikers from the bench and those that come on do really well. A lot times we won games due to the players that came on from the bench. To win this game we don't just need 11 players.

I am very excited and I am happy because the season is not gone. This team is still alive and this means this team has very good character and personality. They are very professional because after the defeat against Man United in the Champions League it was not easy to move on and they had a fantastic reaction.

So what do you make of Carlo's press conference? He isn't giving anything away about the formation or who plays but he drops a small hint with the comments he made about players coming off of the bench to influence a game.

I have had my say today on the two key players to win it for Chelsea and that's Luiz and Drogba and I have given my analysis of United and how we can beat them.
