LUIZ "He is possibly a future captain of this football club."

John Terry speaking after the Spurs game has once again heaped praise on David Luiz. Luiz has come to this country and has made the biggest impact out of anyone I can remember in such a short space of time with the Chelsea fans. He has scored a couple of important goals and I have posted about how much I love the bloke.

Terry has revealed if he carries on the way he is, he is in no doubt he is a captain of Chelsea in the making. He said:

"David is incredible. To have such an impact at such an early stage of his career here is amazing. Normally, when a player first comes in it will take him at least three or four weeks to settle but David has come in and hit the ground running straight away. It's very different for him over here. He has played in Portugal with Benfica, so he is learning about our game all the time.

We are talking long-term here but, for me, with the quality he has, he is possibly a future captain of this football club. David is a great lad. He wants to learn and improve every day. That is something we will get to see the longer he is here."

I think Terry is right. Luiz has it in him and his passion for the game is amazing. Let's hope he continues to build on the start he has made at the club and you never know, one day lead us out as Captain.
