If we do beat United, it's still far from over!.

We all agree if we can get the win over United this Sunday it would be a massive step towards retaining our title but it's important to remember that looking beyond Sunday the season is far from over.

The win would put us above United with a better goal difference so it would look positive however, United travel to Blackburn the weekend after as we are at home to Newcastle and in the last set of Premier League fixtures, United are home to Blackpool while we have a difficult game away at Everton.

Let's be honest here, if anyone could possibly slip up it could be our game at Everton out of the four games I have mentioned above. Blackburn after their win at the weekend look in a far more comfortable position as Newcastle are so have just pride to play for really. It's safe to predict now United will beat Blackburn and Chelsea will beat Newcastle at home based on form etc etc.

It would be down to the final fixture for both sides. I cannot see Everton shipping loads of goals so it's important that Chelsea make and take their chances against Newcastle at the Bridge. At Goodison, Chelsea can win the game but maybe we are looking at 1-0 or 2-0 but I do not see alot of goals as Everton at home are normally OK.

So it would all come down to United and how many they score at Blackburn and how many they score at home to Blackpool. The hope for us will be that Blackpool will be fighting for their lives and will put in a performance at Old Trafford so we have to remain focused on winning every game. Goal difference will be vitally important here and could be the deciding factor.

Of course this is all hypothetical but Chelsea and United have the ability to win their remaining games. It will be down to whoever holds their nerve and plays better in these three games to get the win.

The thing we all realise is that United and now recently Chelsea have been there, done that as far as title run In's go so it will purely come down to the players on the day.

I just hope Chelsea do not choke and play as well as we all know they can against United, Newcastle and Everton. We have it in us to do well, play well and score goals so let's hope the players step up to the plate now more than any other time of the season!
