Following on from my last post where I gave my opinion on the first of two key players for Chelsea to beat United on Sunday being David Luiz, the second one is Didier Drogba.
Drogba is back in recent weeks and has found his scoring touch once more and it HAS TO BE a concern for United. Drogba scored at Old Trafford in the recent CL defeat and followed on from scoring the winner this time last season as Chelsea took a massive step towards winning the double.
Chelsea have to start with a 4-3-3 formation and Drogba has to be the main man through the middle. Forget trying to get the Drogba & Torres partnership going for this one! This is too bigger game for things like that. Chelsea need to play to our strengths and that's Drogba leading the line.
Vidic and Ferdinand both know what they are gonna get when it comes to Drogba. He's strong, powerful, mobile, agile and up for the battle. He's not afraid to drop deep to pick the ball up, drift out wide and switch positions with Malouda and Kalou's movement and generally cause havoc in the United defence.
Didier Drogba on his day can win a game by himself. There have been times this season where I have wondered where the animal Drogba can be had gone. One thing is for sure, he is back and is ready for the fight. United you've got your hands full on Sunday and you and I know it!.
Here is a video of Drogba's performance in the last game against United. Remember he was a second half substitute. (Turn volume off - I didn't choose the song)
