"He’s a fantastic centre-forward – power, strength, he’s got everything!"

I posted on here the other day that Spurs were eyeing up Didier Drogba should Chelsea decide to sell in the summer and in the press this morning, Harry Redknapp is quoted about Drogba and has given every indication that he WOULD make a move for the Ivorian. He said:

"He’s a fantastic centre-forward – power, strength, he’s got everything. He plays for Chelsea and until they decide otherwise, you can’t speculate about his future. But he’s a good player.”

Spurs fans will know what it means when Redknapp speaks of a player, I think we all do. It means he is interested and will make a move.

I also posted that Didier will be having talks with Chelsea this week to sort out his future and some of you have posted your comments.

I have already said it, but I really hope that we can get another season out of Drogba before his contract expires because I cannot see the club offering him another deal or if they do, it could be an additional year on top of the year he has left.

Then again, it's Roman and if he wants to revamp the squad he will. Just not Tottenham FFS!!
