Over the course of the weekend a whole host of names are being linked with Chelsea and this "supposed" vacancy we are going to have as the press believe Carlo Ancelotti is to leave the club at the end of the season.
Harry Redknapp, Marco Van Basten, Frank Rijkaard, Andre Villas Boas and even Pep Guardiola are being linked as possible replacements as Guus Hiddink ruled himself out and Jose Mourinho revealed that Manchester United will be his next job in England.
I have to say, I am not so sure that Carlo will leave Chelsea and I would like to see him given the chance to rebuild our side as I posted the other day. Carlo has even spoken of the fact that he wants to stay at Chelsea.
I am of the opinion that if Roman Abramovich wanted Carlo out he would have done it sooner rather than later. Let's be honest we all have expected some sort of reaction when we had a nightmare earlier in the season and again immediately after the United results. This never happened so why are we to believe that it will in the summer?.
I think the fact that nothing has happened and the fact that Abramovich has invested heavily in our playing squad in January indicates to me he is prepared to give Carlo Ancelotti time to rebuild for next season and the future.
