Kalou on his way out?

Salomon Kalou has spoken of his frustrations at Chelsea in recent weeks. So much so, it appears he is considering his future at the club. With the likes of Fernando Torres, Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka ahead of him in the pecking order, it's going to be hard for him for force his way into contention.

Kalou said:

“It has been difficult for me watching from the sidelines. I will sit down at the end of the season and think about it. It is hard to do that now because we are focusing hard on the games we are facing. You need to do it for the good of your own career and you don’t rush into anything.

They are all top strikers and have shown they have the ability to help Chelsea go to the top. But if you look at the statistics, I am not far from them and can also reach those levels!.”

So what do we think of Kalou and his future? I think that Kalou defiantly has the ability but he is a long way off the finished article and for me, one for the future. The problem I think the club has at the moment is the time it will take him. Can Chelsea afford to keep hold of him and wait for him to come good and perform on a consistent basis week in week out?.
