Micah Richards on Chelsea's Radar?

The Sunday Mirror has run a report this morning that Chelsea are monitoring developments at Manchester City regarding the future of Micah Richards after the player has come out and said that he would rather leave City than become a squad player at Eastlands.

Now although this is just speculation for me it would be something I hope is true and we do follow this up. At the moment the squad seems to need freshening up and Richards being English and a homegrown player would be an ideal signing.

Bosingwa and Ferreira are doing ok in games and are not playing well in some others and this maybe a position we need to re-invest in. At the moment I can see Carlo playing Ivanovic there once again as Alex returns from injury as he is the best we have at the moment in that position.

Although City do not want to do business with any direct rivals of their in the Premier League, if Roman wants him he will do what he can to get him.
