Anelka wanted by Liverpool?.

This morning there is continued speculation that surrounds the possible transfer of Fernando Torres coming to Chelsea but it seems as though this one has taken another further twist. The general consensus of opinion is that Torres will be leaving Liverpool at some stage. Now whether this is by tomorrow evening's deadline or in the Summer is another thing. If it is to be by tomorrow then Liverpool are believed to want Nicolas Anelka as part exchange.

So I am just wondering if this is something that Chelsea would even entertain. From our point of view we are looking to build on our existing squad so what's the point of using Anelka as part exchange. It's bad enough we have no other options that are used by Ancelotti apart from Kalou to play down the right hand side.

On the other hand, his age could be seen as something Chelsea would need to address as look at what happened to Ballack for example last Summer. He has been at Liverpool before and knows that the club is all about and the Liverpool fans took to him when he was there.

I just wonder if Chelsea would be willing to let him go to get Torres. What do you the fans think? Chelsea fans would you be happy to let Anelka go? Liverpool fans would you want him? and Chelsea fans if Torres came to the club with Anelka leaving would you see Carlo employ a new 4-4-2 formation with Drogba and Torres as the focus up front?.

Imagine that, Torres and Drogba up front! What a combination!
