Carlo has spoken of Roman Abramovich and the fact that he isn't happy with Chelsea's run of form, but still has his total support. He said:
However, I wrote the other day about Roman Abramovich and the rumour going around that he could possibly sell up in the Summer. Obviously I don't believe the rumours at all but asked people to give their opinion on what could and would happen to Chelsea if it was in fact true.
It does seem as though his involvement with all things Chelsea seem to have been put to one side lately with everything going on and being on his holidays. As per Carlo's press conference today, we are being linked with all sorts of players but nothing yet has come to fruition. Of the rumours, Carlo also said:
Carlo's comment of Roman when he says "He knows the difficulty of the results" is really confusing to me also. I don't think we can call Birmingham, Sunderland and Wolves difficult games do you?. We haven't played well but it seems as though Roman nowadays will accept it. The players have come out and said it's not been good enough, have spoken of other sides wanting it more than us and Chelsea not playing well. Now if you are reading this, be honest, based on Roman's passed are you still surprised Carlo is still there?. Don't get me wrong I am 100% glad he is, but I am surprised at the same time.
I know I shouldn't be thinking it at all, and like I have said the rumours sound complete rubbish, but don't you think that Roman seems to have new interest's at the moment in his life and Chelsea's transfer policy isn't one of them?
Since when would Roman Abramovich ask his manager to "try" and beat Blackburn rather than like the rest of us, expect it?.
I have to say there may be a perfectly reasonable explanation but something doesn't seem right there at the minute. All Carlo and the players can do is get out there and win each game as it comes.

“I spoke with Roman. He is not happy. He knows the difficulty of the results and has asked us to look forward and try to beat Blackburn. I spoke with him over the phone. My talks with him are always positive.”For me anyway it's a good sign that Carlo has been allowed time to put things right along with the players. I am 100% positive that they can do it and as I said yesterday the next seven league games will define our season.

“I read a lot of names in the papers. There are a lot of rumours, speculation, maybe some agents use Chelsea to earn more money. I don't want to say too much. Pienaar is a good player, it doesn't mean he will be here.”You have to admit, with the problems we have had this season when injuries have hit us hard, and in order to stabilise and re-establish our form and position in the Premier League, you would have expected Chelsea to do business all already, but we have heard nothing at all.
