Marouane Fellaini has been commenting on tomorrow's game at Chelsea after their defeat at home to West Brom last weekend has said that he expects the angry players to raise their game against Chelsea. He said:
All the players are still angry after losing that game at home. We are hoping for a good performance now to bounce back. Chelsea are a big team and a dangerous team. But we have a good record against them and tend to play better against good teams.I think it's safe to say no one (apart from West Brom fans) would have expected the kind or result we saw at Goodison last week. The Everton players will be smarting from that defeat and have had a whole week to contemplate what happened.
Hopefully it’s the same again. We are motivated to do well against the big players."
Everton are one of our bogie teams and last season's 3-3 draw at the Bridge and the 2-1 defeat away from home re-emphasises the fact that this is no easy game for Chelsea.
The thing that Fellaini and the rest of the Everton team need to be aware of the fact that Chelsea are the same. Angry at our recent results and we have a couple of hungry players making their return who will hopefully make a difference tomorrow.
Whoever wants it more tomorrow wins it!.
