Lahm to Chelsea - That's more like it!

There is a rumour that is doing the rounds at the moment and that's Chelsea are monitoring the situation at Bayern Munich and are "reportedly" looking at Phillip Lahm.

Now for me anyway this is fantastic as we all saw just how good he is as an attacking full back down the right hand side. He was also the German Captain in the World Cup and was one of their best and most consistant players in the tournament.

The rumours are because of Bayern's poor start to the season and reported unrest in the camp but this could just be pure speculation at the end of the day.

Imagine that though, Ash down the left and Lahm down our right hand side!.

How great would that be!

Boswinga is pretty good, and we also have Ivanovic and Ferrer... Super Dan-Pet-Rescue has never quite been replaced! But, our priority would be a 2nd Goal Keeper, as our replacements at RB are much better then Hilario who lost us the games vs Inter and who can not seem to kick the ball. As for Turnbull, people at Middlesbourough think he's shit. Also, why the hell are we after the Stoke feller we scored 7 past??

I cannot share your joy on this, one because this is just a rumour and it will die soon, and secondly and more importantly because we don't need a right full back. We will soon have Bosingwa back and with Terry and Alex fully fit, we can even have the luxury of Ivanovic at the right back. Time and again, Ferreira ply his trade well on the right. It is not that i am not a fan of Lahm, i like the guy: his captaincy, coolness, defending and marauding forward. If we don't have our own right full backs, i would even pay 100 million pounds for Lahm. What we badly need is a centre back, and good 2nd goalkeeper and a striker (young and strong). I don't know about the Cb and a GK but i often think of Alan Dzagoev as our forward, Lukaku can still be ours, though.
