This is the news we have woken up to this morning. The News of the World are running this article today and have said that Ashley Cole has had a meeting with Carlo Ancelotti and has said he wants to leave Chelsea because of his personal situation outside of football.
The article quotes a source close to Chelsea and they have said:
"It was a very amicable meeting, but Ashley made it clear that because of his personal situation he feels it is in his best interests to leave the club. He told Ancelotti that he will be very sad to leave and that it had been a privilege playing for the club during such a successful time in its history.
Ashley was told that he would have to go and see the chairman, which he hasn't done yet and he has not handed in a formal transfer request. He knows Ancelotti wants him to stay, but he feels that moving abroad is the only way he can escape the attention after what happened with Cheryl and the other stories about his private life."
This isn't the first time I have reported about Ashley Cole and the press this summer.
What do you think, is this just speculation? Do you want Cole to stay?

Ash, Don't leave the best club in the world because of the cowardly tossers out their. If any of them were man enough they should say it to your face instead of using all the web sites and your ex wife as an excuse. Mate, you got my vote to stay for you have done nothing but been an absolute genuine honest servant of the club and I would hate to see you leave. Please stay and break more records with the famous CFC. Don't go and think you can hide in Spain...stay with us and we'll join you in THUMBING OUR NOSES at the BASTARDS!

01. this can be a news published by the paper, so that they can have good sales.
02. this can be a news promoted by RealMadrid to make speculation and encourage cole to move.
03. this can be a news promoted by rival clubs to make speculation and encourage ashley to move to real.
04. this can be a news promoted by chelsea itself, so that, by the news,and fan reaction, cole can get to know how much the fans love him, so that would encourage him to stay.
there can be more.... who knows!?!
