Its not the first time that Mesut Ozil's name has been banded about the rumour mill this summer but there is the first indication in recent days that Ozil wants to leave Werder Bremen .
He has talked up moves to the Premier League recently by saying"
"There are four or five clubs in Europe that you would have to say as a player would be a dream to play for. Manchester United and Chelsea are very much two of them. When you are looking at moving clubs it's impossible not to pay attention to the Premier League and even more impossible not to pay attention to Manchester United and Chelsea.Added to this today there are reports that Werder Bremen have put a £15m price tag on his head and the player himself is not happy with their valuation of him. It seems a price anywhere in the region of £10-15m will be enough to get him.
I am a winner and, when I am looking for a new club, I simply look at where I can be the most successful and where I can win the most trophies, If you look at the recent history of Manchester United and Chelsea then it's clear that a player can be very successful there.
Of course clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona are of huge interest and the Premier League's top two clubs are of serious interest to me when the time comes."
So the question I ask you is:
For that amount of money would you sign him?
yes.. but not if it would slow teh development of kakuta!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why we bid for Ramires when we have similar players like Matic, Mikel. We lack creativity and Ozil is a wonderful addition
ReplyDeleteRamires is a direct replacement for Ballack ..
ReplyDeleteMikel is getting his chance and he is superb (could do more though). While Matic shows signs of technical excellence, he seemed less composed on the field when he gets his chance.
I prefer that chelsea sign ozil insted of KAKA, why we should pay 65M for kaka or include our best left back ashly in the deal while we can keep ashly and bring ozil at 15M euro.
ReplyDeleteKaka won't add much more than Ozil and I think it is better and cheper deal for us.
Yes
ReplyDeleteyes we should buy him I would be angry if united get him instead. We need to get him and for 15 million is a bargain, He will be the best player in the world in a couple of years. Also we should buy mueller
ReplyDeleteCOME ON CHELSEA!!!! ;)
I'm a United fan and I think both clubs should be cautious of getting overawed by his world cup displays. You have to wonder why Real Madrid and Barca are not putting in real bids if he's that good. I'm by no means saying he's a bad player, but the price he's going for is, I would say, an honest appraisal of his talent, and not the total bargain the media are hyping it up to be. If I had a choice of Darren Fletcher or Mesut Ozil...Fletcher would win hands down. I also think Chelsea have better players already.
