Carlo Ancelotti has spoken of Chelsea's aims for this coming season. He said:
"Our aim is to do better than last year in the Champions League, We went out too early last season. It is not easy to be competitive in every competition. If it's possible then we want to repeat what we did last year in the other competitions."So does that mean that our focus this season is Champions League alone and if we can do well in the Premier League and domestic cups then so be it?. Or does he mean he wants to add the Champions League with the same success we had last season?. For me I want the Premier League again aswell as the Champions League.
Some come on Chelsea fans two questions for you:
1. What's the priority for you personally this season?.
2. What would be a realistic successful season for you that you would take right now before the season starts?
Would love to hear from you and read your individual opinions!.
CAREFREE & KTBFFH!
The priority this season will depend on what type of players Carlo brings in, and the overall strength of our side in comparison to the other big side in the same competittions..
ReplyDeleteIf we get a big name striker to cover in case of injuries during a critical part of the season like a champions lge tie, and creative midfielder to help lampard, then the priorities will be simple and straight forward for me, win the UCL and the Prem.
but right now i would take a domestic double Prem and Fa cup,. if we cant get that,. i would also happily settle for just the Prem,. winning the league tittle in the strongest league in the world would do me,. haha
I want it all!! Let the first team concentrate on the Premiership and Champions League while the youngsters can be blooded in the FA Cup and League Cup. Although, if they make it to the finals of the Domestic cups, they should play the finals and not let the big names take the glory!
ReplyDeleteThis years number one priority is the Champions League and the Premiership. First of all get this Champions League trophy in our cabinet and let the rest do the talking as far as that goes the Premiership comes second. The F.A Cup basically means nothing as we win it every year and have alot of F.A Cups in the cabinet and the Carling Cup is just a give away not worth the risks of Injuries and Suspensions. So if you ask me just focus on the UCL and the Premiership
