Chelsea's Ashley Cole Jose's top transfer target?

As soon as expected, Jose Mourinho takes over at Real Madrid its being reported everywhere that he has made Ashley Cole his top summer transfer target.

It's worrying news for Chelsea as Cole has been playing better than ever this season and really has got a foot-hold at the Bridge. We all know he struggled to begin with to settle at the club and it took us a while to see his best form. He really has stepped up his game and is without doubt the best left back in the world so its no surprise Jose wants him in Madrid.

Mourinho is looking to bolster his back line with Cole down the left and Maicon down the right which would prove to be notable acquisitions in the summer.

I believe though, there is a desire amongst Chelsea players to achieve the ultimate goal in club football and Ashley Cole may just resist the lure of Madrid to concentrate on a bigger assault on our quest for european glory.

Lampard resisted the temptation to move abroad and I hope Ashley Cole does the same, but then again as all the Arsenal fans know, he could just decide I want a new challenge of off he goes!

Let's hope he stays and is a massive part of our season next season!.
