Chelsea come in for James Milner?

Could Chelsea be in for James Milner and get him right under the noses of Man City?

Summertime madness and mayhem is upon us and the rumour mill is in full swing already. We all know by now that Citeh made a £25m bid for James Milner and that was turned down by Villa. There is little doubt that moneybags Citeh will come in for Milner again with an improved offer (£30m) but it seems as though this story could take a massive turn.

King Carlo is reported to have made his interest in Milner known and the lure of Champions League football will persuade Milner to come down south to London. Villa have a real struggle on their hands to keep him and know that they can't match any offer Chelsea or Citeh make the player.

Milner himself dropped a hint that he would be willing to move on when he said during yesterdays England Press Conference at their Austrian training base: "I've enjoyed my time at Aston Villa, it's a great club to be at. But all I am thinking about is England."

With reports of Chelsea's ageing squad and possible in's and out's Milner for me would be an ideal addition to our squad. He is a player I think alot of non-Villa fans admire, especially in an England shirt. He has bags of energy and can score goals.
