The Chelsea side to take on Everton is confirmed. Chelsea line up as : Cech, Bosingwa, Alex, Terry (C), Cole, Essien, Mikel, Lampard, Anelka, Drogba & Malouda. Subs: Hilario, Ivanovic, Mancienne, Di Santo, Belletti, Ballack and Kalou.
Everton kick off.
25 Secs GOAL EVERTON - SAHA.
Ball played out to the Everton left and Baines passes to Pienaar. He crosses and the ball is half headed clear by Mikel as he runs towards his own goal-line. Ball up in the air left corner of 6 yard box. Fellaini goes up with Alex and wins the header, flicks the ball back and across goal and Saha unmarked fires the shot first time from 10 yards into the bottom corner 1-0 Everton.
7th min, Lampard long ball out wide left and Malouda is onto it half way inside Everton half and he is beating Hibbert for pace, Hibbert trips him and brings him down and is Booked.
13th min, Chelsea have alot of possession since the goal. Have possession again, Ball played into Drogba and half cleared, comes out edge of box to Essien who rushes his shot and fires high overt the bar.
18th min, Possession stats on TV shows Chelsea 68% to 32% for Everton. We are dominating.
21st min, GOAL CHELSEA - DROGBA.
Anelka on right cuts inside 30 yards from goal and plays ball square to Lampard. Lampard see's Malouda in space wide left and chips ball over top to him. Malouda takes one touch to control, then looks up and see's Drogba lurking. He flights a cross into 6 yard box and Drogba beats Lescott and his bullet header into the corner gives Howard no chance. 1-1.
23rd min, Drogba left hand edge of box plays back to Lampard 20 yards out left of centre and he hits one over the bar.
30th min, Anelka plays a raking ball from right to left 40 yards to Malouda. Malouda brings it down and cuts inside, shoots and its blocked and rebounds high into the air edge of box. Anelka hits hit first time left footed on the volley and its easy for Howard as there was little pace on the ball.
33rd min, Ball over to by Everton, Cahill runs onto it into the box, Cech comes out and they both make a challenge for the ball and end up on the floor & Cech has ball safely in his hands. Great hands under pressure from Cech and very brave.
43rd min, Chelsea pressure in midfield. 50-50 tackle deflects over to left wing to Ashley Cole, his first touch takes him past Hibbert and he takes another one into box, left hand side. He shoots and its high over the bar. Should of done better there.
HALF TIME. CHELSEA 1-1 EVERTON.
2ND HALF. Everton Sub, Hibbert off and Jacobsen on. No Chelsea changes.
47th min, Neville lunges high on Mikel and is booked.
49th min, Chelsea corner, Lampard flies it in, half cleared out to edge of box and Malouda, under pressure volleys high over the bar.
58th min, Everton play a long ball upto Saha and its half cleared by Chelsea. Saha hits the ball under pressure and its well wide.
59th min, Lampard plays ball over the top to Anelka and he has beat his man into the box. Howard comes out and Anelka lobs the ball over him goalwards but the ball goes just over the bar.
60th min, Chelsea Sub. Essien off and Ballack on. (Essien has been quiet)
61st min, Long ball again from Everton and Cahill and Terry go up for it 30 yards from goal. Ball comes down in front of Cahill and he shoots straight into Cech's hands from 30 yards.
63rd min, Mikel booked for a tackle on Saha. But this is because of number of fouls he has given away and not just that one.
66th min, Everton free kick taken quick and played out to Baines. He crosses and Saha unmarked from 8 yards out heads over the bar!
72nd min, GOAL CHELSEA - LAMPARD.
Chelsea possession in midfield just inside their half. Played to Ballack and he plays into Anelka. Anelka sees Lampard dead centre and plays ball into him 25 yards from goal. Lampard takes a touch to his right and looks to shoot, then cuts back onto his left foot. Neville has been sold by the dummy. Lampard turns back and slips, but picks himself up under no pressure and hits it left footed and ball flies into top corner as Howard gets finger tips to the ball. Great Goal and Franks 20th of the season. 2-1 Chelsea.
73rd min. Ball played into left channel for Saha. He passes back to Pienaar and he cuts inside from left wing 20 yards out and fires a shot well wide.
74th min, 40 yard crossfield ball played from right to left to Cole who does fantastic to keep the ball in play. He squares to Lampard and he slides the ball first time into Malouda left corner of box between two defenders. He takes a touch inside the box and fires a shot over the bar from 12 yards out left corner of box.
76th min, Everton Sub. Saha off and Vaughan on.
77th min, Malouda picks up ball from Lampard 35 yards out dead centre. He takes a touch looks up and shoots from all of 30 yards and the ball flies over Howard, hits the crossbar bounces down near the line and out again and Howard catches it. TV replay shows ball bounced down behind the line. Should of been a goal. Great strike by Malouda.
80th min, Terry plays a long ball up to Drogba who flicks a header goalwards but its easy for Howard.
82nd min, Everton Sub. Osman off and Gosling on.
84th min, Lampard twists and turns in box right of centre and flicks past Pienaar who sticks a leg out, Frank goes down. He is booked by Ref but replay shows he was caught.
89th min, Cahil hits another shot from 30 yards and its wide and easy for Cech.
4 Minutes time added on.
92nd min, Lampard plays in Anelka again over the top and Howard comes out again and he flicks over Howard once more but goes over the bar again.
FINAL WHISTLE BLOWS. CHELSEA ARE FA CUIP WINNERS 2009. 2-1.
