Liverpool 1-3 Chelsea - The morning after the night before

Did you wake up this morning with a big smile on your face like i did this morning?!. What a game, what a result and what a performance. Been buzzing about the game all day. Looking back at last night its even more impressive. Just how big a win was last night?. Lets face it Liverpool had not lost at Anfield in all competitions for 32 games. Had just beaten Real Madrid 4-0, Man United 4-1 and Aston Villa 5-0 and yet we stuffed them last night.

Can't emphasise enough about the amazing job Essien did on Gerrard. I have never seen him so quiet in a game and Torres the same. I bet last night when we went a goal behind you thought the worse like i did "hear we go again" popped into my head! But, it was a minor blip on a great performance. Another blip was JT's yellow card. He has come out and said today that he blames the Liverpool players for getting him booked. Looking back i have to agree. But let's face it of course they were going to do that as they knew he was one yellow card away from missing the 2nd leg. But what a replacement we have in Ricardo Carvalho.

These are good times under Hiddink. Lets hope they continue!
